Peter Hadar
Remember this name: Peter Hadar. The New Jersey born singer/songwriter
and graduate of The Eric Roberson School of Honest Music has become a
fixture on New York's indie soul scene and is now ready to bring worldwide
audiences his stellar debut, "Memories of the Heart." The record is a
superb blend of midtempo grooves, drum and bass rhythms, and haunting
ballads, all complimented by Peter's smooth vocals and passionate writing.
Peter
has a growing list of songwriting and producing credits under his belt,
including artists like Joe and Carl Thomas. He also co-wrote the song
"We Can't Pretend" from Eric Roberson's latest record, "The Appetizer."
Astute fans of the indie soul scene will remember his excellent contribution
to last year's h20 Production's "While You Wait" compilation with the
sexy, horn-heavy midtempo track, "Need Love."
Peter's
debut, "Memories of the Heart" will be released June 27, and includes
"Need Love" along with nine other unforgettable tracks. Highlights of
the set include the sunny, love struck groove, "First Sight," the melancholy
numbers "U Don't Love Me" and "Never Again," the inspiring song "Marvin,"and
the pounding bass and freestyle cuts "Thunda" and "Provider."

spoke recently about his debut record, meeting his friend and mentor,
Eric Roberson, and the experiences that have inspired his songwriting.
